about

"Forty Years in Babylon" is a concept album that seeks to make sense of the separation we all feel, the division, the fracture, the forgetting, and the powerful forces I feel pressing down upon me. They are probably pressing down upon you, too.

Through these songs, I wonder and grieve, and love, and retrieve, and I explore my instrument, which is a Spanish guitar, a guide through world music traditions that are thrilling, and confounding, and distinct.

I'm glad you found this music. It's for you, and I hope it makes you feel something beautiful. We're all lost in Babylon now, but we can find each other, and remember, and in that remembering we can stay human. If you like it, I hope you will share it with someone else.
